Guiding Question: How do we become more reflective as a learner through blogging?
Central Idea: Communicate ideas through blogging.
As you blog, be sure to include three components:
Guiding Question: How do we promote our website and share our work with the community?
Guiding Question: How do we learn from our units and grow from our challenges?
Central Idea: Write a reflection on the various stages of our I.B. Water Unit.
Water Unit stages:
2. Water Quality Testing
3. Water Supply and Water Cycle
4. Local Water Issues
5. Global Water
6. Service Based Learning
Directions: Select 2 stages. Be sure to write at least 3-5 or more sentences about each section. Here are some sentence starters to help guide and structure your writing.
During the Service Based Learning stage, I noticed that I had to gain some video production skills to make a video with my group to bring awareness. I had difficulty with this because I never used Wowvideo to make a video before. I was surprised to learn that with my teams' help, I was able to drag and drop some footage to create a short video. For the Service Learning stage, I learned that collaboration can be helpful in creating video because you have so many minds working together!
During the Service Based Learning stage, I learned a lot. I learned to work. I liked it. I want to do it again.
